An account is required to access the site. It consists of a valid email address, your name and a couple of preferences to personalize your visits. You will also need to create a password meeting the following requirements:

• is at least 8 characters long
• contains at least 1 uppercase character
• contains at least 1 digit
• contains at least 1 non-alphanumeric character (like a @ or a $)
• contains at least 1 non-repeating (unique) character
• Examples: MyP@ss-1 or M0mmaI<3u

• Once you have run the gauntlet of entering your password twice, click on "Register".
• A pop-up will open asking you to confirm your email. Open your email program and look for a message from registration@tetontroll.com. If the message doesn't appear in your inbox within a minute or two, check your spam or junk folder.
• This is not spam, so dismiss any warnings and click the Confirm button in the message. A new window will appear with a thank-you note and a Login button. Login with your credentials then click the hello button that appears. Add your name. You're good to go.
• You must confirm your email and login to access additional site content.
• If you did not receive the confirmation message, check to make sure you entered your email address correctly. You can click on "Login" then "Resend Email Confirmation" to try the process again.

The email password requirement and the confirmation process are basic steps taken to ensure that your address actually exists, and to prevent hackers from using automated intrusion programs to access websites containing personal information.
